A Pathway to Preservation
Here at Chasing Bugs, we believe conservation starts at home. Our approach to environmental stewardship focuses on three primary areas: education, modification, and amplification.
“In the end we will conserve only what we love; we will love only what we understand; and we will understand only what we are taught.” – Baba Dioum
Community Conservation: Moving the Public to Action
Environmental conservation exists along a spectrum of public engagement. Through strategic design of resources and appropriate communication methods, we can help move people from passive to active engagement around a specific conservation issue. Engagement begins with awareness. From awareness, we can help lead people to appreciation, action, and advocacy. This 4-A model of conservation engagement can help organizations and individuals strategically engage the public around important local issues.
